Can you view satellite/textured 3D maps while navigating?

I'm very excited for the new Maps app in iOS 6 (despite the flaws in this first beta).

Can anyone tell me if textured 3D buildings and satellite views are available while navigating using 'turn by turn'?

Nope. At least I haven't figured out how to yet...

Yeah, all the screenshots and videos that I've seen seem to show that it is standard-maps only, and not textured-3D.

Maybe the first replier knows something that we don't know...

Looks like you may be able to. You can preview a route anyway.

You can do it with the regular, manual directions (the ones that have always been in Maps). I couldn't get that to work with the new turn-by-turn directions though.

It switches back to map view whilst navigating the route though.

Might be a bit too distracting and use a lot of battery.

Would be nice to have the option though, would be useful close to your destination if you're not familiar with it.
