RTWG macrumors regular Original poster Jun 13, 2012 #1 Hello all, I'm very excited for the new Maps app in iOS 6 (despite the flaws in this first beta). Can anyone tell me if textured 3D buildings and satellite views are available while navigating using 'turn by turn'?

RTWG macrumors regular Original poster Jun 23, 2012 #4 Yeah, all the screenshots and videos that I've seen seem to show that it is standard-maps only, and not textured-3D. Maybe the first replier knows something that we don't know...

You can do it with the regular, manual directions (the ones that have always been in Maps). I couldn't get that to work with the new turn-by-turn directions though.

Would be nice to have the option though, would be useful close to your destination if you're not familiar with it.
