I checked UPS just before coming here and saw out for delivery as well. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised, did not expect this.

No, I'm pretty sure the US is the only country that has mmWave towers.
I didn't even notice until you pointed it out but I have it too. I guess we're future proof for when our carriers roll out mmWave in 2030? 😂
When UPS came with mine I was out mowing the lawn. The guy at first just brought out my other (non-Apple) package I was expecting today. Then went "ohh ****, there are 2 more" and ran back to grab the phone and trade-in kit. He told me another UPS truck had met up with him and handed him 20 of these boxes. He had no idea what they were...LOL
My other package had been on the truck since early this morning so I guess they had other trucks drive the iPhones around to meet up with the regular trucks for a given area??

Well... sadly it's not looking too good for me guys. It's 2:45 PM here and UPS departed from Edmonton at about 7:00 AM (5 hour drive up north) and I still haven't seen a destination scan for Grande Prairie. My tracking is telling me Monday September 22 by end of day. And while I did have a little bit of hope that maybe a miracle would happen... I would now say that it's definitely not going to happen today. All of you lucky people enjoy your phones this weekend!
Just picked my 1 TB Deep Blue Pro Max 17 from the Apple Store. Very smooth. I won’t go back to at home deliveries where I wait all day for nothing.
I just did my 14PM to 17PM. 14PM was still on physical. Didn't bother converting it over. I'm on Telus and it only took less than a min for the transfer to complete. So it was able to transfer directly from the Sim in the 14PM to eSIM for the 17PM. Super easy.
Ok that’s is good to know. Was it done during the set up of the phone using easy transfer?
My i17P MB 1TB was just delivered in Winnipeg. Was an odd delivery as I ordered right at release, within the first minute. Shipping date was immediately set at Sept 19, and then yesterday I got an email saying unfortunately the date changed to Oct 1 to Oct 7. Was bummed. Couple hours later got a shipping / tracking notice still with the Oct date still attached, so wasn’t sure what to expect. Somehow it still arrived today. Left on doorstep, no signature required. Nice phone and in need of an upgrade from my i12P.
Black iPhone Air is amazing, I don’t know how but it is even thinner in person, but my god, the fingerprints on the back. Just brutal.

I got the sky blue, no fingerprints on the back. The sides yes for sure. But wow is this the best phone I’ve ever owned. It’s so light and thin
Ordered my iPhone Air on Tuesday from KooDoo and got it this afternoon. Couldn’t believe it came on launch day especially with a carrier and ordering only a few days ago.
Absolutely love it, reminds me of the XR, thin, feels light... My favorite iPhone so far and I’ve had a lot of iPhones. Got the light gold color, the back of the phone looks mostly white, not as warm or creamy as previous gold models. But it’s nice.

I think there is a reason 3 of the air models look so similar with lighter backs, definitely a smart play by Apple. I should clarify, it is more smudgy than straight fingerprints with the black - black MacBook is a good example:
Despite all my fun watching the delivery drama to BC yesterday and actually getting my phone on time, I've now initiated the return to Apple. Just half a day with the phone and I realized it really does nothing for me over my 14PM. The only thing I really want out of it is the USB-C as my 14PM is the last Lightning device I own. Oh well, maybe next year. Or maybe I'll look at picking up a used/refurbished 15PM just to get USB-C.
I hope everyone enjoys their new phones. The Blue 17PM is a beautiful looking phone in the hand. I really wanted to run it without a case but seeing all the reports of day 1 damage to the Ceramic Shield and the aluminum finish would have forced me to use a case for it.
Maybe see everyone next year for the iPhone 18 Canadian pre-order thread...LOL

What antennas aren’t covered by cases? It’s not usually a problem unless the case has a metal frame.
I ordered from Bell when orders opened on September 12th... Still hasn't shipped and their IVR now says it's expected to ship on September 26th. Strange stuff.Ordered from Bell on September 12th, Purolator tracking just update to out for delivery today
