Other CANADA iPhone (2018) XS/XS+/9 Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

I had my iPhone X pickpocked in Barcelona 2 weeks ago, so the timing is perfect for me. Getting the XS Max this time, I found the keys too small on the X, I kept making typos.
UPS My Choice has my shipment in Inchon, Korea. Arrival still listed as sept 21. As mentioned above, I too have faith in the date. Been there before.
I do enjoy the thought of the thief trying to get past face recognition.

Ah that's brutal, i wish Apple had added the theft option for AC+ in Canada. Something I'm always worried about, especially now that the phone is $2,000. This is one of the reasons i'm not getting an apple watch. I would become dependant on my watch and not even think about where my phone is. The fact that i have my phone on me all the time and am constantly checking it lends itself to a lessening of a chance it gets stolen.

Those pickpockets in europe are ruthless.

What is AC+?
 
Regarding the two cases I got today, I love the blue one but the nectarine one is a bit too pink orange rather than orange so I’m not sure that I will keep that one. Hopefully there will be a good orange one in the near future.
 
My last UPS update was Departed Shenzhen @9:00pm on Tuesday.

I'm hoping it's in my location and just hasn't been scanned yet.
 
Still preparing for shipping for me.. and saying delivery on Friday . Starting to get a bet sceptical
 
strange that my phone arrieved at 9h15am today at Louiseville, KY, now it's 10h36pm (more than 12 hours later) and It still show no new updates since this "departed" from Anchorage, AK of 11h15pm yesterday! I followed the plane, it's why I know it's now in Louiseville, but I found it strange that it wasn't yet scan so much time later. Not sure i'll have it on 21st...

Louisville is UPS main hub. Cargo carriers usually have arrival and departure banks that mostly occur at night or early AM. It'll probably depart Louisville late tonight or in wee hours of the morning tomorrow on a flight to Canada. Not uncommon for your package to be offloaded the flight in your city only a few hours before it's out on the truck for delivery.

Yeah, except there is no airport here (just a small one with no cargo flights). It will need to go to Montreal first I suppose, then to Sherbrooke.

I wouldn't worry. It's already in North America and they still have all day Thursday to get it to Sherbrooke.

yes, I suppose it can arrive on friday. Anyway, where I live, i'm one of the last sector that UPS do in the day, so I usually see them at around 5 to 6pm.
 
Just like with my 6S my Xs is stalled in Asia.

Just like with my 6S I’ll trust Apple to get me my phone on Friday.
 
Anyone have this showing up?

Got an email overnight indicating that it’s almost time to pickup my XS Max from my local apple store. Basically a run down of everything I need and what to expect. Reservation is for Friday at 8 am.

What time did you order yours? I didn't get an email yet.
 
i got an email that the phone has bveen shipped, but tracking still shows Korea. I guess i'll find out by tonight/tmrw morning
