I live in North Bay, ON and a month ago i ordered my iMAC and it was FedEx shipping not UPS
ordered it within first 5 minutes, base Sport white.
stuck on Prepare to ship since Monday. nothing on support page either

We've purchased a lot of Macs and iOS devices to our office in the past few years. I've noticed that almost always Macs get delivered by Fedex while iPhones and iPads have been delivered by UPS. I'm sure Apple could do things differently at any time, or based on geographic location.
I just logged into my apple support profile at 1:21PM (PST) and I'm seeing my watch listed there now!

Just did a package tracking quote from Elk Grove (distribution centre) to Calgary. Packages need to be picked up tomorrow at 3:30 CA time to make Calgary Delivery on Friday. So considering Calgary is major city, that means Thursday at 3:30 is most likely our Friday delivery cutoff for major cities in Canada
Unfortunately I noticed that my iPhone 6 original invoice said it was shipping from Elk Grove as well but UPS tracking showed it came straight from China. This may or may not be the same for the Watch.
how did you guys track that?
I'm in GTA, so I doubt it'd go o Calgary, but it's good to find out tho.
Mines listed on the support page too. Shows April 21st when the support has started.

Lucky you!!! My CC was charged Monday and status has been on "Preparing for Shipment" ever since.

Me too but the 21st is only an estimated date... and my apple care isn't taken in consideration either.
The last time I got a device from Apple it came by fedex. What about the others in Canada? Did it come by fedex or ups?
I ordered an iPod Nano last February and it came by UPS... but it was shipped to my work address so I don't know it it's the same with home addresses.
I've had no movement on my watch (in the 13 May wave) but I ordered an extra charger on a separate order. It went to "preparing for shipment" Monday, shipped yesterday and has a scheduled delivery for tomorrow.
The thing that I've not seen before on any Apple orders I've made, is that the first origin scan from UPS was within Canada. If the watches have the same pattern, the turnaround could be as little as a couple of days.

One of our watches (wife) has this and the April 22nd shipping date. Looks like I'm SOL!
No it didn't. Assuming a GTA destination, From China it flies to Anchorage. From Anchorage it goes to Kentucky. From ther it goes to Mount Hope, ON. From There to Concord and then finally out.
Apple get the products staged at secure DC's in the US and only starts moving them at the last moment to arrive as promised. Even if your tracking made it look like it arrived overnight from China it did not.
Been through this with iPhones and iPads. Almost certainly your watch is sitting in a big pallet/container in Elk Grove. Thye can't scan the label on your particular package. There will be a master shipping label for 100's or even 1,000's that is being tracked but not reported for individual packages. That container will be shipped from Elk Grove sometime Thursday and delivered to your local UPS sorting center. Then it will be put out for delivery Friday.
UPS tracking is not always completely transparent or up to date.
well, hopefully I can get it before tuesday, that's when I'm starting to do some real workout.
I so hope you're right... me too it only says Preparing for Shipment since Monday and nothing has moved since.
