I am in the 5:50 group, mine had moved from Concord to London Friday night, Out For Delivery this morning commit time EOD.
UPS normally comes to my area between 2-4 PM
I'd assume you'll be getting yours when the rest o the 5:50 group is so I wouldn't worry too much. At least yours has a commitment for by 12 noon. Mine (along with many others) as by end of day. Either way we should finally be getting our hands on these things today! The excitement is real.
Same; it's more or less just an update to tell us that it's been loaded onto a truck that will eventually deliver the package to us. I guess we'll see a package delivered to us before 12:00pm (noon). Sorta a pretty big window; maybe I'm expecting too much, sorta like bike couriers.
I had the same early morning scan and a noon delivery commitment. I couldn't believe when it showed up at 7:54am. And it was a special UPS delivery to my building; he didn't have anything else.
There has been no update on UPS tracking this weekend. It is not entirely untypical on bulk shipments that originate in China. Had the same thing with an iPad in the past and it still showed up as expected/estimated.
For those who received their watches already or have at least received shipping notices, are these being shipped via UPS? I ask because other Apple products I've ordered in the past have come via FedEx. Also, does it require a signature at the door?
If you go into the Apple Online Store it will show if a signature is required.
Odds are they will given the value of the item, mine coming via UPS does.

When Apple e-mails you the ship notification it will provide a tracking number and will advise of UPS / FedEx.
Movement on 38mm SGS has been terrible - I have a 4/10 xx:15 preorder that hasn't moved from its late May to early June delivery at all, no email, nothing.
I placed another order for a 38mm SS WSB yesterday morning (4/26 - 16 DAYS after orders opened). It started at 4-6 wks and changed to 3-4 within hours. Based on others' reports it should go quicker than that. Meanwhile, nothing on my early early SG preorder.
So, pretty typical.
I called UPS this morning to ask what it meant if my package had a tracking number but wasn't trackable via the UPS website. The CSR I spoke to said that it meant that the shipper had printed out a shipping label but had not scanned it into their system. He said the package is still with the initial shipper. So for those of us who received shipping notices from Apple on Saturday, it doesn't look like they actually have shipped out yet.
Same situation, have the tracking number but not valid yet. UPS hasn't picked up the parcel yet. But the delivery date in my email says delivers 29, so I guess they will start moving tonight. I am in Toronto
That's kind of what I figured. In order to make more people happier with progress on their order (or just to do something hat works better for the, logistically), they've "shipped" a whole bunch of orders that haven't actually been completed and ready to deliver to UPS yet. My guess is the original delivery estimate from the shipping email will be accurate (in my case, April 30th). They'll get the packages today or tomorrow and deliver on Wednesday.
That's what I thought too. But then the UPS guy on the phone kept on saying "as soon as it has cleared customs", and I kept on saying "so you have it?" and he kept on saying, "No, but we will update as soon as it cleared customs", and I again "That means that you have it?" and he kept on saying no and talking about customs, and then I just thought to myself, 'screw that'. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow and see. Stupid thing is, tomorrow is supposed to be the delivery date.
It's 12:07 and still showing out for delivery now.
I hope it still is as no one was home this morning to receive it but there is someone home the rest of the day.
Pretty sure it updates almost instantly when they actually deliver or try to.
Mine showed delivered within a few minutes.
Yeah. Then last week we had updates for certain movement having an hour to two after it scanned.
I am also thinking they may have tried and decided to come back later since they are usually in my building a lot.
They normally leave a card or sticker to say they made an attempt and they would try again on X day...if you dont have that then they likely did not come yet.
They never leave a InfoSticker for me. I have had to print out my tracking info and take it in for pickups. It was never a problem when I leaved in a house but in an apartment building they just never leave one.
The watch from the Saturday ship notification does show up in support profile so I'm sure it really is on the way.
