I am hoping someone can throw some light on this. My order says 'preparing for shipment' and also says 'available to ship: June'. Soooo ... what does this mean? Anyway one else had this? I noticed that there is a charge on my card from Apple as well. Imminent shipping?

Yeah, a friend ordered a 42 mm blue sport after I ordered my black sport, and she got it on launch day.

Are you waiting on one? If so, which one? I noticed that the ship times for blue Blue band sport models have fallen to 2-3 weeks shipping. I almost cancelled the 38mm sport blue last night to get something better in time for Mother's Day but noticed that it was 'preparing to ship'. I have no business buying the SS 38mm anyway (wife will kill me for spending this money ... but hoping that she will be happy with a thoughtfully chosen gift from kid)

I have a 42 Sport w/black band that ships in June, and a Sport with green band that delivers 5/15-5/21
I would rather the blue band...hmm to give up green or not...

I was tempted to cancel and switch to blue (and buy a black sport band), but I saw a space grey sport here at work, and it looks really good. I'm glad I decided to wait.
... but I hate the wait after waking up in the middle of the night to order.
Well, if you want the blue, that's an easy choice no?
I feel for you! I just placed my order on the 28th, so I can't really complain. The SG sport with black seems to be by far the most popular!
Same here. I've gone to the Apple Store a couple of times and really had a good look at the various options. I really didn't care for the blue, green or pink bands. I know if I ordered them just to get the watch sooner, I'd pretty much never wear them and just end up ordering (and waiting for) a new band.
Plus, I think the Space Grey finish looks better with all of the bands, even the white. If you go to the mix your watch site, I think the space grey looks way better with the white band than the silver that it normally comes with. I ordered a white band for a more casual look; it just says "ships in May".

Really? Did not see that. Even my Wife's pink 42 was not delivered until Wed. and she ordered about 6 minutes into the presale.
Blue was very available with next day shipping on the 23rd and 24th. The store showed June but if you ordered it shipped right out. Wearing one now.
UPS missed me on thursday, so i called them within the hour of getting the notice on the door - they said they would try to contact the driver to see if he could attempt a 2nd delivery that same day. A couple hours later UPS called me back and said he'd be able to, so I got my watch around 2pm. Worth a try..!
Oh they didn't even come for me to miss it. I just wish they'd say when it was coming. I live four hours away from anywhere, so it's going to take longer so tell me it's going to take longer rather than missing me about.
weird that your UPS tracking page doesn't have an estimated delivery date on it. Even Apple sent me an estimated delivery date in the email (it was a day later than it actually arrived).
I guess that's the difference of living in the city versus not.
Apple said the 30th. UPS says information unavailable. I've ordered stuff from Apple many times, and it always gets delayed one day, but nothing like this before.
