any idea if they're gonna be giving things out?
also, what's a good for me to show up if in fact they are giving away stuff.

I'M HERE!!! Bonjour to le pomme. I'm sending this through the MacBookAir amidst the crowd. Had to wait an hour to get the T-Shirt.

Can't believe all you Montrealers left me alone to play at the store. I was thinking why the flagship in Montreal. First off, listen to the people around me. French, Arabic, English, Italian, Portuguese, Russian..... and this at a time of year when most students are still away (Montreal has a student population second only to Boston). Then there is the music scene. Montreal (and this coming from a still-NY-snob) has the hottest talents (Celine Dion notwithstanding)--- The Stills today 4-5. I've already booked for my FCP class (choice of English or French, natch). OK, it's smaller than San Fran, not as majestic as NY, but it's home.

i believe as long as it isnt in a mall? Or they have their own storefront at least..

Correct, as long as it isn't in a mall. Every other Apple Store in Canada is in a mall, other difference is that the ones in the mall have 1 floor while the flagships have 2 or more. The one in Montreal has 2 floors.
