I would just like to comment that i never intended to use any where near all of the 6GB in the plan lol I just want to be able to if i so desire, or if such a need ever arises! Maybe in the future there will be a really amazing streaming app or something, or maybe a nice tetheing app. And the biggest thing is it gives me piece of mind knowing i will never likely exceed my limit ! :)

I would also like to state that i am underwhelmed at the availability of 3G in the network! lol i would like to use my data more but edge is simply painful. and really, if it were an edge data plan then 1G would probably have cut it LOL

Could be the crappy 3G network. I, for one, have such trouble getting a fast connection sometimes that it hinders my internet usage.

I just hope that Netshare comes back on the iPhone so I can tether it to my laptop and get my money's worth and actually use those 6GBs a month! Still though, Roger's new plans are going to be garbage, so I'm glad I've got the 6GB plan before it's gone.

I'm not sure netshare will be coming back. I bought it but it got deleted from my system.. I'm not too happy.

More than likely careers will offer a tethering plan... I hope~

I have faith that Apple will be democratic. If my cellular data plan allows for tethering, then Apple really has no right to pull software that allows me to utilize what I'm already paying for - especially if I had already paid for it.

I was not aware that Netshare was pulled from user's phones. Can anyone else confirm this?

AT&T's cap is 5 gigs, so you should feel privileged.

It doesn't allow for tethering, so you're not paying for it.

Apple and AT&T are reportedly talking about a tethering plan. Not sure what the deal is with Rogers though.

That cap is for tethered plans and laptop data card plans. For phone only plans (including iPhone,) there is no cap.
