The more often you do it, the more likely the chance you will get burnt. It's never without a degree of risk in selling to complete strangers unless you have a store.

Any way, after a few glasses of wine and some beer, I am going to stop obsessing. I feel the shipping time will be accurate for me: Sept 28-30 for the Black 7+ 128 GB. It was ordered around 12:13. I'll see how I feel on Friday and maybe I'll pop into an Apple Store. I am now going to take a break from Macrumors. I'll come back when I get my iphone.

But yes, Toronto or Hamilton should be after Louisville. That is when Apple should finally move from Preparing to Ship to Shipped because they consider out of the main UPS hub when it technically ships.

I've been checking out flight aware to see where the UPS flights from Louisville go to and I think the next stop is Ontario, CA which doesn't make sense but there doesn't seem to be any flights from Louisville to Concord or Mount Pearl.
 
Update regarding the pick-up time being removed from the apple.com orders page: it's back. Didn't call them or do anything. Status still the same. Probably a bug or something.

Same here. The check-in time was back yesterday. Didn't do anything either.
 
Shouldn't the pick up at store orders change to "Shipping to store" soon? I want things to moooove!

It will probably be on a non-regular flight. There is a UPS476 that flies from Louisville to Hamilton that it may be on either later this afternoon, or very early tomorrow morning. Quite possible they go direct to YYZ too, but not sure. Just going by what it did last year.

Either way, I do not think these phones will be at our local hubs until late on the 15th or quite early on the 16th. My brother has a phone and a watch that have been sitting in Louisville since the evening of the 12th and is going to Edmonton, Alberta. They hold everything in Louisville until the last minute. All part of ensuring they don't deliver until the 16th.

Mine still shows Preparing for Shipment and it's in Louisville as of this morning.

Go use the reference trick on ups and I'm sure it'll show up. Use phone number and destination country to track.

Yep using the Order #(minus the last 2 digit) or Phone number will show your tracking... Apple status order will stay in Preparation for Shipment status oil the package hit Canada. It did that last year. It changed on the Thursday evening.

It's almost like Apple doesn't want you to see that your package is shipped from China. heheheh.
Anyway mine left China last night...

2 more days.... soon :)

I've tried it both ways and I cannot get anything to show, it makes me sad.
 
I guess what I didn't do was register and sign up with an account for UPS. Once I did that I was able to find that my iPhone 7 is in Osaka Japan.
 
Hi all, sorry I am all new to this. I was trying to use the Reference method on the UPS page. I put in my order number minus the last 2 digits in the field. It shows that a package has left Hong Kong and the destination is Brooklyn. Am I looking at someone else package and am I not using the reference method right? Thanks in advance.
 
My best guess, for me in Milton, Ontario at least, is that the phone will leave Louisville early tomorrow morning on one of two flights. Either UPS488 that usually leaves around 5AM and arrives 6AM in Toronto, or UPS476 that leaves around 5AM and arrives 6AM in Hamilton.

If not early tomorrow morning, this will happen on the morning of the 16th and head straight to the trucks that morning. They like to cut it close.

It happens to me too... If you use the Order number tricks, make sure you select the right Country. At first I was seeing another delivery.... But in doubt, try with the phone number.

Mine too. Still processing. Scheduled delivery still shows as September 16th. I have my doubts. I checked UPS with my phone number as reference, and it shows a parcel that left Shanghai, but it's a very limited screen. No scheduled delivery dates, no tracking history. Just that. I'm really anxious. I'm without a phone. I started to blog about it.
 
The pending charge dropped off my AMEX card this morning. Ordered a 7 Plus for in store pickup. Probably not a big deal, it still shows my pickup time as the 16th at 8:00am
