At least it is making steady progress. It just scanned a departure from Mansfield. That is only about 600km from my place so that is good.
Do they still have to to do that customs broker thing? Is it possible that's done already?

It will be very tight but I think you are good. Be in Louisville tonight and then off to the east coast ASAP, but will be tight for time.
It left Anchorage at 2:48pm local time, I would assume it's on one of the 3 flights to Louisville KY. Hope it's enough time to make it to the east coast for tomorrow!

UPS updated their wording from "in transit on time" to just "in transit".... but the Apple page still says 16th delivery.

It is quite possible that it all cleared customs in Louisville, which is why (mine at least), was there for 2 days. Then it is just waiting for line at the border. My guess is Buffalo. If it is "customs cleared", the truck is basically a bonded warehouse on wheels, which is what I believe is the case. By now, we would have, or should have gotten a scan saying there was an issue with customs. In my experience, the worst scan you can see from UPS, is WAREHOUSE SCAN. That means it is there, but it is stored in the warehouse and not moved for a number of possible reasons.

Travelling by truck makes sense in some ways. It could stop at hubs in Canada like Niagara region, Hamilton, Kitchener (or wherever) and drop off as it goes. Rather than flying to Toronto or Hamilton and then back tracking in the morning.

I highly doubt some of us will get the iPhone in time. Mine says its departing Omaha NE US. I highly doubt it will arrive in Alberta by tomorrow

:) I'm just so happy to be back with Apple. Tried Android/Samsung for a month and that recall was a blessing for me because it allowed me to return my phone after almost a month.

Does anyone else's phone that hit Louisville 14th at 1am have a "shipment in transit delayed" showing when you look at the track shipment in the your order details on the Apple site? Still says est delivery 16... but I wonder what happened. I hope to wake up to good news

I honestly don't think Canadians are getting their phones on time (some not all)

I had that earlier today but when I checked just now, it only says in transit.
I'm in Toronto.
Last known scan was arrival in Louisville same time as you.
