I just noticed that they are linking the website to reserve without paying by stating that you can reserve for a carrier but the link is not working

I think Apple gave the east coast preference considering the time difference.

Oh yeah I see that link now at the top of the page to choose between the 7 and 7 Plus. That was not there before but the link won't open for me either.
I did it all through the app and the website was still down long after I had my confirmation e-mail.

Wow, I couldn't even get into the app until 3:08 EST. Got confirmation email at 3:09.

for the 6 launch when i had my reservation, they had TONS of 6's for sale. Just not the +'s
ah, that makes sense. there was a shortage of + for a while too. that explains why I still see more iPHone users with a +.
I've always gotten the phone on release date too, it's gonna be so disappointing this year
I ordered mine 12:04 and it was eta October 5th to 12th. Mines jet black 7+ 128g. I've always compromised on the color before because I wanted to get them first but this time I rather wait and get the color I want instead of buying whatever is available.
I really hope our order will get bumped up.

Yes, I never saw anything earlier than October 5th to 12th for the jet black 7+ 128g. Hopefully these will deliver on launch day. This has happened before.
I think it depends on how many workers in China at the Apple plant end up on sick leave.
Every year that there is a new color (or option like the plus) that always seems to be the one that sells out first. You'd think they would make extra knowing that people want the new one. Who knows, maybe they did and the demand was just too high.
Just did a dummy order for the 7+ Jetblack. It didn't give me a specific date like with the app, but November is the shipping time now.
I got a sept 25 quote on the Jet black 128 GB but realized i was still signed into my motherss apple id.. after i logged into mine it was oct 5-12 sadly.
Tim Cook rushed on making the Jet Black colors, it wasnt ready for production because it is a fingerprint magnet
