CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

Mine could have arrived today, it was ready to ship at the same time as the recent batch, but somehow, it sat around in China while the flight departed. Likely Thursday at this point; they won't be able to get it to Ottawa from Anchorage overnight.

FedEx would have done such a better job...

Called 3 times at UPS today (same situation as you) and they had a late plane this morning, the automated system made assumptions but they never got it on a truck. They will be delivered tomorrow.
 
Well... Finally went out of clearance to mount hope... My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow in Winnipeg... So I guess it'll be moving overnight to Winnipeg.

That's good news. UPS still shows it as being delivered tomorrow by end of day. I'll be annoyed if its not as I've taken the day off work tomorrow... sad... I know... :p

Thanks. I got the 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black. Unfortunately not the first, as it has been released her. However, official iPhones here come without Facetime (it is carrier blocked and not available). You can buy them from unofficial retailers with Facetime, but they are easily $300+ over retail price. Once supply levels a bit, will come down, but I am impatient :)
 
I'm loving the new 7 Plus. I think I'll be returning the 7 or selling it to a friend if he still wants it. I think I'll get used to the size pretty easily. I love the screen clarity and the larger fonts make it easier to read. I've played just a bit with the camera and in low light I have to say I am super impressed compared with what I would have expected from my iPhone 6.
 
Decided to switch to 7+ 128 Matte Black and managed to snag a reservation to pick one up this afternoon. My JB is still processing with a 10/5 delivery but since I'm throwing it in a case anyways, the JB doesn't really matter much to me anymore.
 
I'm honestly shocked that my Jet Black Plus 128 order is still in Processing (ship date was Oct 6-13).

The Jet Black thread on here is filled with people who had a later date and have had their phones shipped. Ridiculous.

Same for a close friend of mine. He ordered his 10 minutes after the store opened and had early October delivery estimate. Hasn't moved at all.

I was XX:06 (email confirmation from Apple at XX:07) I thought it might be because we're in Canada but even on the UK thread there are people who ordered at XX:10 that are out for shipping.

I called support and they gave me the run around, said don't believe everything you read on internet forums. Orders are processed based on the time you ordered.

Howz the phone so far?Seriously block facetime?Why would they do that?Your impatience was well rewardedunlike some of us who are still waiting for our phones and every time i check it's just "PROCESSING" my life becomes Depressing.

The two external speakers are pretty darn impressive as well.

I'm really loving the cameras. I took a photo that my iPhone 6 never would have been able to do on my way to work this morning. Nice and crisp, not a lot of noise.

Yeah i called the Apple support last week around 2-3 times and all they said was wait till oct 5th-12 because thats the estimated delivery date on your order.Jet Black 128GB 7 plus all of us have no option but just to wait.If there is any update i'm sure we will keep each other informed.
 
Cancelled my 10/5 jet black order and picked a matte black version up at Mapleview Mall in Burlington. The matte black was actually way nicer than I was picturing in my head. Patience was never my strong suit.
 
those of you that got your phone today or yesterday I'm pretty jealous. we were on the same flight across the pacific and I'm still waiting for it to go all the way across the country. Is there a way to ask ups to expedite it while it's in shipping? It's literally left calgary, gone back and now sat in Edmonton for 14 hours. is there a way to request air instead of ground?
 
Finally arrived... Had some trouble getting my apple ID to update, then a long wait updating iCloud settings, but it finally finished. Boot up... Restore from backup... And I immediately have to do the update to 10.0.1... It looks great... But it's sitting here updating and I can't play!

My original delivery date was Sept 26-29, so I'm happy
