CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

It's still in ontario California is it not? Though I did find it strange I got the custom thing 3 hours prior to 1pm so it has to be at a place that's 3 hours ahead when it scanned. Hopefully it has already entered Canada but no location scans :(

This whole preorder has been so chaotic. Some of us just simply want to know where our phone is at and when is it coming.

Sometimes tracking doesn't update and it can be already cleared customs and on route to your local ups hub
 
Kinda weird that all the 7s and 7 Pluses on the Winnipeg reservation site all went out at the same time when all those phones have been available all day.. Stopping reservation so they'll have something for tomorrow's reservation queue maybe?

It would make sense. A steady stream of sales everyday is better than having some days with a bunch and some with none. Checked at 8:01 this morning and they had both 128 + 256 in Black Plus. Just gotta keep refreshing right at 8AM and moving fast through the checkout process.

I was actually on the last step (again) and clicked on the final button, sadly didn't get the 128gb, and I would bet someone was just ahead of me by a few milliseconds....
 
Managed to get a iPhone 7 Plus Black 128 GB for reservation and in store pickup. I think stores are getting more stock, the person I talked to mentioned today was the biggest shipment they have got to date and by far the biggest shipment of 7 pluses ever.
 
Had a pre-order for a 7 plus 128gb Matt black with zero movement, checked apple tonight and there was one available in Edmonton for pick up tomorrow, managed to get it and have cancelled the pre-order, so happy :) however I do think apple should be allocating stock to pre/orders before giving it to stores for random people..

They don't need to do that, though, because people can do what you just did and cancel their pre-orders for in-store pick up if necessary.

Yes, when you find the phone you want, you pick a reservation/pickup time and the check in period is 30 minutes (eg - 2:00 to 2:30). If you don't check in with the Apple Store rep during that timeframe (or before), you may lose the reserved phone.

You can reserve in the morning and pick it up later on the day, that is what I did.

pre-ordered a plus matte black 128gb at 3:22am est and still processing. nice to see others getting movement. hoping others canceling and picking up in store might help. the app didn't even work at 3am so i wasn't that late its pretty surprising but I guess if i went with silver or gold i'd probably have one by now. that will teach me to change from silver to black :)
 
Another day, another failed reservation, Apple suddenly asked me for 2FA while I was reserving. And someone got the phone by the time I selected my time. NOOOOOOOOOO :(
 
Well I haven't seen movement from Edmonton since Tuesday. It's possible because I live in the Yukon, that it was moved to a different courier but I can't find it on purolator or canada post using my number as reference and nothing. So today will be iPhone 7 or bust! Gah! I just want my phone!

I guess that's the cons of living in a ruralish area? No guaranteed dates and if it's usually 2-3 days, they say to expect it to be a 5-7 days wait instead.

well that's a welcome change and wow! It just skipped a bunch of places #UPSisAnnoying
But today looks to be the day! Oh my gosh! iPhone 7 Plus day!!

Well this sucks..
I had a out for delivery scan at 8:17am but then switched to a held in custom message around 9am. Now I called them and was told won't be delivered u till after the weekend on Monday.

There goes my day of sitting and waiting.

i got the same message, but they delivered to my house an hour ago. 2:30 pm

Brutal. Don't give up, if I gave up after a couple of real failures, I wouldn't have the phone in hand now. You'll get one in a couple days, just watch, stock is picking up.

I'll try again tomorrow morning! Seems like they're releasing one 7 Plus Black in Winnipeg every day instead of releasing everything in one time. I have a JB 7 Plus preordered w/ TELUS but it still hasn't shipped at all so I'm trying my luck with the Matte Black, I'm fine with both colors anyways :D

How's the phone so far?

It's pretty incredible. Black iPhones are just the perfect look. I can't believe it's been nearly half a decade since a real black iPhone.
