I had Apple Music and although I liked it, I found out I did not listen to enough music to justify price. I then went to iTunes Match, since my main need was to keep Playlists in sync btw rMBP and iPhone. What I didn't like was on my rMBP playlists were able to be auto alpha sorted as I added songs, but not on iPhone.

I am now at a point in my life, getting old 🙂, that I don't plan on adding more songs. The 155 song playlist currently on my iPhone is good for me from now forward. I only listen to it thru BT in my car.

My question is, has anyone cancelled iTunes Match? If so, what happened to your playlist on your iPhone? I don't listen to the music thru my rMBP.

I own all the music. Most was bought thru iTunes and the rest was mine brought into iTunes and matched by iTunes Match.

I would be ok paying the 25.00 per year to keep list intact. But, a waste of money if the current list will be unaffected by cancelling Match.

Thanks
