If I cancel preorder from Apple how do I reset my eligibility to previous date? I just checked, it's already showing 5/2013. How do I go back? I didn't know Att does this immediately after pre ordering, I thought they would reset the date at activation. 😡

I agree that this is your only option. Ask to speak to a supervisor...that may be your only out here.

That's weird. On Verizon it still says I can upgrade but when you try to it just says you ordered a new phone and it has to be activated.

I was going to preorder since I haven't made up my mind. I have i4. I didn't think they would bump my date to 2 yr already. Looks like failed plan.

I have no proof, but I think, later, it gets moved up.

This happened to me when I pre-ordered my i4 last year, the eligibility status came back a day or two (if not instantly) after I canceled my pre-order.
