Like many of you, I ordered my iPhone 6 just past 3am on ATT's site and it's current estimated delivery is much later than 9/19. If I decide to cancel my preorder and instead purchase straight through Apple (which, go figure, still has iPhones in stock), will I get my upgrade eligibility back? And if so, how long will that take to process? I don't want to cancel my ATT order and be stuck in no man's land until Apple runs out of iPhone 6s.

Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Last year,it was within a very short time, under an hour in most cases.

I'm on the same boat as you. called them and they don't know if the order is cancelled but the system shows a reversal of the upgrade. They say they're investigating and they will call me back asap. Still processing, pending confirmation on status page and no cancellation email though.
