Still have it, but we're seriously considering dropping it as there's virtually no content that interests us still on it.

Hulu is our go-to.

we have it but i am finding only 1 or 2 shows worth watching every mo.

I haven't had Netflix in about 3 years now. I got two free years from buying some Samsung phones back then. I hardly ever used it even when I got it for free. I got tired of finding a movie only to discover it had horrible acting or subtitles. I didn't care about the TV shows.

My family is heavily invested in many of the shows and given the current situation where we go out a lot less then we used too - its a good investment, even with the price hike

Excellent point about needing to stay in more, due to the virus. I also have Sling Blue, but I don't watch too much of it. I could live with just Netflix and Locast (for getting access to local channels; antenna does not work very well for my location). Sling Blue is only $30 a month, but again not watching much on it.

We canceled it about a year ago, mainly because we've been happy with the content between HBO, Disney, and AppleTV+. Right now the new season of The Crown is making us rethink it, but overall we haven't missed it.

Just finished all 10 episodes of season 4 of The Crown. Their original content is worth it, better that 90% of the crap on there.

Unfortunately, I’m still subscribed as they have shows and originals that I watch that are not available anywhere else. It’s about USD $12 for the standard plan here in my country (including GST).

I’m only paying £8.99 a month for it so it’s still quite cheap for me as we use it pretty much every day. If it gets to a point where j feel I’m not getting my monies worth, I will cancel it no question.

I've been a Netflix subscriber for about 7 years now, but I'm considering canceling. Over the last couple of years, a lot of the shows I liked have been stripped away and the replacements haven't been quite as good. That said, I'm not really sure what I'd replace it with.

With all the companies creating their own streaming services, I'm now left having to pay for a handful of subscriptions to get access to the same content I got from the single service I had a few years ago.

You have it good in the US on the streaming side of things.. everything rolls out there first and we Europeans have to live with watered down HBO called HBO Max(or the Hobo channel as I now refer it as) and a Netflix library that's half, if not more of its US counterpart..

I would give my left testicle for having the choice between Hulu, Disney+, HBO (the real one) and what evs you all have access to that's the real thing.

No, I will keep Netflix as it's my only real legitimate service to watch movies and series on.
I don't have any cable television as it's a costly affair and these companies know just how to put together the channel packages so that the one thing people really would like to have, is always in the top tier package. Instead of being a little less greedy they could put all the good stuff that I want in their smallest available channel package tier.

In most cases, that is true. But there are some instances where what time it is matters. Our oldest son lives in Richmond, UK, and whenever "Better Call Saul" is on, he actually gets to see it before me. I suspect there are a few more examples, but your statement is, for the most part, valid.

Sometimes, there is the case where we see a series before our son does. "Killing Eve" is a perfect example. It has been on AMC here in the US, but not on BBC until about 1 1/2 to 2 months later. But of course that is an anomaly.

That really annoyed me when Killing Eve was shown in the US first and was a slap in the face to the British tv license payers. I had to download the series illegally last time around otherwise it would have been ruined here. I hope they don’t do that again otherwise i’ll probably cancel my tv license and just refuse to pay it like many do.

Really irritated by Glow cancellation. Def looking forward to more Witcher, Cobra Kai, Ozark, Stranger Things, etc.
