I cancelled CBS All Access through Apple TV Channels months ago. I had linked my cbs.com and Apple ID back when I had it to watch Champions League soccer through the cbs app.

On a whim, I decided to login in to cbs.com. Turns out I still have access to everything. I can view live content and the entire All-Access library without having an active subcription. Has anyone else experienced this after canceling All-Access billed via Apple TV Channels?

You’ll have access until your subscription runs out.
The thing is that my subcription has been expired since September. I even (stupidly) called CBS to tell them about this and they said talk to Apple. Apple said talk to CBS. Looks like nobody cares that I'm getting CBS for free.

Now unfortunately, I bet this stops working when they transition to Paramount+. Curious to see if I just have some one off bug or if it's more widespread with others.

Well enjoy it cuz that’s not supposed to happen. Are you sure you aren’t just getting what’s available for free?

CBS allows streaming of the most recent episode of (most of) their shows starting the day after broadcast... our DirecTV spazzed out and we missed a few shows last week... were able to watch on CBS.com without their paid subscription app.

The same exact thing is happening to me, but with HBO Max. Cancelled back in September to take advantage of the $11.99 for twelve month promo they had. My wife is still able to access content on my cancelled account since September -- I created a new account to get the promo. There seems to be some sort of communication issue between Apple and and HBO/CBS that took place in September.

Dang I was optimistic that I also had the HBO Max glitch, but that doesn’t seem to work for me. I was also subscribed to HBO Max through Apple for a short time before I cancelled to get the promo too.

The only downside I see to this is I’ll have to make a new CBS Account if they ever introduce another tier of service that I want that isn’t available through Apple. Because currently my CBS account says it’s linked to Apple and I can’t resubscribe through CBS directly until I cancel through Apple. Well, I did cancel through Apple but Apple/CBS apparently want to keep giving it to me for free!

I do think I’ll probably lose access when they transition to Paramount+, but who knows at this point.

If they're just updating the "brand" name of the app, then I would think you'd still keep access. Similar to what HBO Now did when they were re-branded as HBO Max, they basically just updated the HBO Now app.

Now if you have to download the Paramount+ app from the App Store, then I'd say all bets are off. But I'd like to think they'd go with the former rather than latter.
