Hey mates

I hope this is the right group to ask in.

I cant enter nor open facebook anymore from my iMac. I had no problem last night, and this morning i cant acces it.

Im using Firefox, but also tried from Safari, which aint working either.

In Firefox i just get the error that the connection have been reset. Facebook is the ONLY page i cant open, which is very weird.

EDIT: Safari tells me that the facebook server cut the connection unexpected? And its the https: part that screws up. I can enter http: facebook, but as soon as it switches to https after login, it cuts. I can enter other https sites like exchange webmail and such.

I can open facebook from a PC on same internet connection.

I have tried deleting cookies and temp files, diabling aDblock doesnt do anything either.

Are there some kind of firewall or filter build in the OS?

Just weird and help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nope, it's something on FB's end... I've been having the same problem since about midnight Eastern time. They'll get it resolved soon enough. But I know... you don't realize how dependent you are on FB until it gets wonky on ya! ;)

Facebook is working for me right now (but only through the https protocol, as my school has blocked the regular version on their wifi), have you tried it recently (figuring that is has been 3.5 hours since your post).

Yeah I had this problem yesterday, probably just before your post. Try it now, it seems fine :)

As already mentioned, i solved itself, soo, no idea if i did anything to help it out, but dont think so. :-S Just not used to big network sites are offline :)

Thanks for the comments though.
