Hi, have an italian unlocked phone (with turbo sim) I'm using in Ireland, works fine, also connects fine to my in-house WiFi, but can't get on the 3g network. In settings only allows WiF, if I switch that on, has option 'other networks', but the one I have been given for vodafone here in ireland (isp.vodafone.ie) doesn't get me anywhere. Any ideas/help (in detail - I'm a phone-idiot!) much appreciated!

I hope it's not a silly question, but if you have an unlocked phone from Italy, why are you using Turbo sim, why don't you just put your Vodafone SIM in it?

as I said..

...I'm a phone idiot, it came with the turbo sim, and my friend says it may originate in the states?
I now managed to get the 3g symbol to show on the phone, my network (vodafone) says 3g should work now, and if it doesn't there 'must be something wrong with the phone'.
Any help/suggestions?
