Hi

Anybody else unable to activate his iPads? My iPhone worked, but all my iPad can't be activated, error says the servers are currently not available. Activation via iTunes doesn't work either, the iPads don't show up.

I'm having the same problem with my iPad 2 (3G). I was able to upgrade an iPad Mini 2 and iPhone 6s without issue to 9.3 OTA.

I tried connecting the iPad to the latest iTunes and tried updating the device from there with no luck.

Same here.

My iPad 3 wouldnt activate this morning after i left it updating overnight. I did a hard reset holding down the two buttons etc and then when it came back up it let me open the iPad and then enter the iCloud password and i was back up and running.

Tried activating my iPad 2 3G again this morning with no luck. I guess I will wait until I get home to try it one more time before taking it in for Apple to look at it.

I've even tried going into recovery mode to update the device but get the same result.

I restored it and it worked. But now its stuck in "Restoring from backup mode" for about 8 hours now.

Same problem here. Cant activate. Tried many times.

Connecting to iTunes won't fix it. Will try restarting a second time after it finish downloading the damn 9.1 image (1.32GB).
Removing SIM neither.

Guess I'll have to put in DFU mode and reinstall.

Same here. Not even recovery possible.

I'll try tomorrow to see if it's Apple's servers.
I'll try from another computer in case it's my computer blocking Apple servers.

If anybody has luck by only trying again, please share it here.

^^

Still no luck. Will try downloading 9.2.1 IPSW to see if I can restore it from there since It's not possible with iTunes by default.

Can't activate my iPad 2, Tried all above suggestions so far. None work. Anyone else have any suggestions.

Seems like the only fix:

1- Download 9.2.1 (latest signed IPSW) from ipsw.me
2- Put your device in DFU mode.
3- Hold alt/option in iTunes when you click on RESTORE. That way you can choose the downloaded IPSW.

Hope you have a backup. Otherwise you'll lose all settings.
