I hold c, or option when it starts up, or try to startup from another disk through system preferences.

I am no longer given the option to startup from any other disk other than my main internal hard drive, and the recovery drive.

I have a clone drive and a diskwarrior drive I would like to access. Does anyone know why this might be?

thanks in advance!!

I don't know about holding "C" button for DVD booting, since I haven't tried one after Lion, but holding "option" button still works fine to me. No problem, but the timing is quite short for me to hold button and enter boot disk selection menu. For me it is in the middle of boot chime sound, not before or after

"C" booting usually only works with the Apple OS installer. I assume it should work for other discs, but I cannot confirm that. As for option, it should be able to choose the startup drive. By the way, coming from Alsoft's website:

"DiskWarrior 4 version 4.3 was released in March and is required to run an installed copy of DiskWarrior while started from 10.7 Lion. If you haven't already done so, you can use the free updater for existing owners of DiskWarrior 4 versions 4.0-4.2."
