Cannot boot into osx without pressing option

Hi,

I installed bootcamp. Unsuccesfully tried to install XP. Then I had bootcamp delete the partition. Now I can boot into OSX - but only if I hold down the option key at startup.

ive read thru the forum but cant seem to find this exact issue. Any solutions?

System Preferences -> Startup Disk

Pick OS X as your boot partition and reboot. It'll make OS X the default again.
