I cannot click on any object in OSX. I can move the cursor around, but i cant click. I booted into windows to see if its a hardware issue however the trackpad is fully functional. I also tried a USB mouse and that didnt work. Any ideas? 2013 13" i7 8gb 128gb.

EDIT: well after about 10 reboots now its working

Yep, this has happened a couple of times to me in 10.10.1 on my Mac Pro. I reboot and all is fine.

Not experiencing your issue here on my MBA 2014. Perhaps next time you can open activity manager and see if any processes are not responding. it might be hard to get there but:

Command + space > type "activity", hit enter when activity manager pops up.
Hit tab if it focuses on the search box, then just use your keys to scroll down the list. If you find anything not responding or using high CPU/memory whatever pops up first, then let us know.

    Good luck
