Cannot connect to iCloud email using LTE (Verizon)

    I've got full bars, LTE, safari loads fast, speed tests show 20mb down and up.

    Oddly, when I load the mail app, it just hangs and doesn't update or load (the progress circle keeps going and going). When I switch on wifi, all icloud emails work and load fine.

    Anyone experiencing same? Tried turning icloud on/off, etc.

    This must be something with Verizon. I have an iphone 4s on AT&T and emails work great over 3g network. When I turn on the hotspot functionality on the ipad and then connect my iphone to it, same situation happens which means somewhere on the verizon network something is behaving oddly.

    What did Verizon say when you called them about this problem?
