iPad "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" error for no reason

    So, occasionally, when I open op the App store on my Ipad 4, it will have a blank screen and say "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". It opens on the "Featured tab".

    I am on a good wireless connection, so it shouldn't be that. And it seems like the occurrence is random.

    For no reason? Umm, did you happen to notice the date on the calendar? There are literally millions of new iPhones/iPods/iPads all trying to connect to the App Store simultaneously.

    I had this happen for the first time today on my 4. I did a reset (hold the home and power button till you see the Apple logo) and it fixed the problem.

    It happened yesterday to my cousin's iPad mini as well. I think iTunes Store may have been buckling due to heavy traffic. IMHO of course.

    If its just Christmas day, I think the whole internet was feeling the strain - not just the iTunes Store!
