"Cannot connect to iTunes store"

    Having this problem this am. I am told that there is (has been?) an unexplained outage at the app store that is affecting people world-wide. No word on when it will be fixed (if it isn't already) or what caused it. Anyone else having this problem or trying to get an itunes upgrade?

    I got it a couple of times today trying to update apps on my iPhone. I just did the update again and it worked the second time.

    Not the first time happening, so probably some routine maintenance.

    I just had this minutes ago. What I did was return to the home screen, double tap the home button to get the list of running or recently run apps, and shut down the App Store. I entered again, and it began downloading fine.

    sometimes apple store cant be connected.dont know why.after few minutes/hours should be ok.server down maybe?
