Cannot connect to iTunes Store

Its not isolated to wifi. My mac is hard connected to internet, still cant access itunes account stuff.
 
I updated an app about an hour ago, that worked.
Just tried downloading djay (thanks to macrumors pointing out it's free... :p) and have the cannot connect error.

I'm in the UK, if that helps people know if its localised or not.

I'm in the UK too (London) but can't connect on Mac, iPad or IPhone, over 3G or wireless, with either my US or UK accounts.

Pretty irritating!
 
Forgot, also, (in settings--itunes and app store, or on the App Store app) tapping my apple ID and tapping view apple ID slides in a view, then it slides right back out again, not doing what it's supposed to.
 
I think it's time for an "App Store Shortages" article. Slow news day at MacRumors.
