Cannot connect to iTunes store

    Anyone else not able to install new apps right now in the App Store? I can get updates just fine (like the new atrocious YouTube update) but trying to install any app I get an error "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store".

    Tried logging out of the App Store and iTunes and a couple other things, nothing worked so far.

    This happened to me when I restored from a backup. You need to go into Settings > iTunes & App Store, then click on your Apple ID at the top. You have to then re-enter your credit card security code and expiration.
    I did that and it fixed the problem.

    Rebooting worked, thanks.

    When I rebooted the App Store just asked for my password again and was able to install apps again.

    I wonder why it all of a sudden stopped, it was only a few days ago that I tried out a different app and installed without the error. And strange logging out and in didn't fix it, but a reboot did (and still required my password to re-log in.)
