Cannot connect to NAS through cable..

Hi,
I am desperately trying to connect to my Synology CS407 from my Mac Mini. Although the two are connected with an ethernet cable the Mac simply cannot detect the NAS.. 😡

The Mac is also connceted to my wireless network which works ok.

Does anyone have an idea?
