Cannot delete a file now

I downloaded the "about this folder.rtf" from my MobileMe Backup folder to take a look.

Now, I cannot delete that file from my downloads folder. The file, and it's .part file, remain. I can't right click them to get info, and Finder just says that they cannot be deleted.

What gives?

Check the permissions in Get Info

There was no available "get info". I couldn't right click the file.

I ended up setting up a root user, and deleting them that way. Worked OK, but kind of annoying.

Now if only I could figure out how to get the Sync logo to stop spinning...
