I don't know why, and I can't seem to find anyone with the same problem. I can delete single events. But reoccurring events I cannot delete. I can choose to delete a reoccurring event from just ONE day, but when I select the "Delete All Future Events" button, it acts like it's going to delete it via going back to the calendar screen, then the little circling hashmarks that show the phone is thinking (whatever that's called, up in the top left next to the 3G/WiFi logo) spins for about 3-4 minutes. Once they go away, the event is still there.

Anyone else having this problem? I'm hoping when the next iOS comes out it will take care of this for me.

fix

had the same issue, may only work if you use a mac. If so, delete event from your iCal, then sync with iTunes, go to info, then calendar, select the what you want to sync...i.e., work, home, etc...then sync. That should remove the event.:)

I'm having a similar issue with my 4S.

I can't delete a recurring event with alarm reminders. I delete it, but it still alerts me the next day???

The event does not show up in the calendar -- it was set for noon each day, but it still alerts for it?
