Cannot drag an image straight from the web browser into messages chat window

Hello all,

I've noticed that after upgrading to OS X Mavericks that I am no longer able to drag images straight from the web browser to the Messages.app chat window. Instead, I have to drag the image to a local folder and then drag that image to the chat window.

This is rather annoying. Is this normal?

It works OK for me, I dragged an image from Safari straight to Messages and it worked fine.

Thanks for getting back to me. It appears to be a problem with Mozilla Firefox. It works just fine in Safari and Google Chrome >_>
