I am trying to use Airdrop between my iOS 7.1.2 5s and my iPhone 6. They don't see each other.

Are others experiencing this?

Airdrop is EXTREMELY buggy in iOS 8. It doesn't really matter if your device you wish to airdrop to or from are iOS 8 or 7 I've found.. if one device is in iOS 8 you will have a very low chance that a device will show up at all. Works a BIT better if all devices are iOS 8, but seems to have to do with the different bluetooth chips used in the different devices. My iPhone 6 has no problem with my iPhone 5S for example, but is totally flaky with my 5th Gen iPod touches. And if those touches are in iOS 7 or 8 doesn't seem to matter much. It's still totally flakey. It's REALLY frustrating and I hope they fix this irritating bug which did not exist when all devices were in iOS 7.
