“Cannot get mail, no password provided for Gmail” anyone ever seen this error?

Just upgraded to a 12 Pro running 4.2.1. I am unable to receive emails on my mail app and am getting this error message. Any ideas?

Did you try going into settings and mail and selecting the email you’re having an issue with to see if it allows you to re-enter the password?

Yes no option to enter a password to begin with in the mail settings

That’s weird. Did you try removing the account altogether and re-adding it?
