Cannot log in on to macOS Sequoia with my iCloud account

Hi,


I downloaded and installed Sequoia on Parallels Desktop. But I couldn't log in to macOS Sequoia with my iCloud account.

Did anyone experience the same problem?

iCloud is unsupported in macOS Virtual Machines using Virtualization.framework. This is expected behaviour.

Edit: looks like I spoke too soon! A macOS 15 guest on a macOS 15 host should support iCloud https://developer.apple.com/documentation/virtualization/using_icloud_with_macos_virtual_machines/ 🥳🥳🥳

I don’t know about Proxmox, but VMWare Fusion, UTM & Parallels don’t use OpenCore.

If OpenCore is installed, I can confirm that the kern.hv_vmm_present patches work for Sequoia 15.2 installed in WMware Fusion 13.5.2, Monterey, Intel.
