Cannot log on to website?

Moderators.......pls move if i am on the wrong forum

Hi Guys
A regular site I visit, (flyfishing), I cannot access any more, just times out
After reading many suggestions on the web, I logged out of my modem (cable), and used my iPhone as a hotspot, now I can open the website, no problem at all
Went back to the home modem.......still not working
I rebooted the modem..........still not working
All googled out :}
Any ideas......not geek enough to tackle this one

- Firefox
- iCab
- Epic Privacy Browser

Does this change anything?

try going to safari>preferences>privacy. click on 'manage website data', enter the site name, &... remove (make sure you KNOW your login info for that site, or have it in the keychain first!)...

Maybe your cell phone provider has the site cached. The site does seem to be down when I checked and from https://isitdownorjust.me/saltwaterflyfishing-com-au/ as well.

Firefox hung, had to force quit

yes it is, just as it was for me when i removed it (after trying it out for you)... unless this isn't it?

Your right, that is the website, appears to be only the cable modem that rejects it?
Ive tried rebooting the modem (Netgear), but did not solve the problem
Sill works through safari using my phone as hot spot

look in the safari privacy window again; i visited it once, and it was listed there for me... so it should be there for you. also, have you tried signing out/back in to the site? and (of course), have you rebooted?

Definitely not there, have re-booted modem and Mac, still cannot get in

... and it takes me to the login page for their forums.

Can't get anywhere else on that site.

Finally got it working
Not sure about fixing the fault, unsure about cause of the fault?

Finally,
I logged in to saltwaterflyfishing.com by hot spotting my iPhone for internet
This time I left the cookie for the link in safari privacy
then changed back to my home cable/modem
logged into http://www.saltwaterflyfishing.com.au without hanging

Working, but not sure if that I went about the solution in a secure way?
