I have an emergency. I am doing research for a paper for a masters class and have found a lot of PDF files on the web that I need after I download them I cannot reopen them and I'm getting several different errors. I took a screen shot of an example. I really need help because I am now a week late with my paper. Any thoughts? I have 10.8.1, Safari 6.0 and latest Adobe Reader (I think).😕😕

Preview did not work out. I could use any other suggestions anyone might have. May have to withdraw from my class if I can't sort it out in 24 hours.😡

The files are damaged, I cannot open them either. Just look at their file size, 2.44 KB is too small to hold any kind of data in PDFormat. You have to re-download those files, from wherever they come from or if that does not work, maybe share the link here for others to test.
