Hey guys, need help. I set up a second admin account using this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJYHSmWAomM&feature=youtube_gdata_player and it all worked right enough, but now I can't delete the account or get rid of the "other" account at login. Please help!
I go to logout, other than that I hvent done anything else. Any chance the video might give a hint? ---------- I tried that, but root access isn't even activated. I tried using terminal, but it kept saying no root passwd! So I'm completely stuck
I've seen other forums about the Directory utility only displaying enable root access and that not being the problem, but no-one clarified anything. I want to just get rid of the account entirely, not just hide it, and I'm willing to destroy the account completely as long as both the account and the other option are bothe gone
Other is not an account. All it does is allow you to enter usernames and passwords for accounts that would not normally appear in the list of users. Potential reasons are: 1. Root account enabled 2. Directory Services is configured to talk with a Directory Server, or allow network accounts to login.
