Cannot restore backup

Hi all,

I have just been given a replacement for my new iPhone and came home to restore it from my iCloud backup. It lets me connect to my network, log in, view my back ups and select one. But after about 30 seconds, a message appears saying "Cannot Restore backup". I have tried resetting the phone and also redone the steps dozens of times but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated!
