Cannot restore phone after jailbreak of 5.0.1- suggestions?

Hi- I want to restor emy iphone to the 5.1 update, and I have the untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak. I keep getting the error "This device is in not eligible for update" error. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore my iPhone back to an unjailbroken state for 5.1?

Your hosts file most likely is pointing iTunes to Cydias servers. Edit your hosts file and comment out any lines that direct traffic to an ip instead of gs.apple.com.

On windows, run notepad as an administrator (liteally dont skip this. Right click it, hit run as administrator) then navigate to windows/system32/drivers/etc. Change the selector to all files and open hosts. Either delete or add # in front of lines that redirect gs.apple.com. Its easy.Then restart comp.

That doesnt work on jb-en phones.

Download IPSW, put your phone in DFU-mode and ALT-restore(mac) SHIFT-restore in itunes
