I have run into a highly frustrating problem that I cannot seem to google my way out of. On my MacBook Pro, running Mojave 10.14.3 and Word 16.22 I am completely unable to save documents to PDF. I get an error message saying "The document 'x' could not be autosaved as 'x'". In addition, the print command does not work, no error message appears, nothing happens. Does anyone have a clue how what is going on?

This only occurs in Word, the other Office programmes deal with both PDFs and printing without any hiccups.

Are you able to update your version of Office 365? maybe it is a bug related to your version.
I'm using 16.24.
you could try opening the doc in Pages if you really need to get it printed to PDF.
does the problem happen on all files or just specific ones?

Thanks for the feedback. Word is now version 16.23. This happens on all files. And it's driving me crazy.
