I cannot change the desktop wallpaper on my MBP user profile. I've got three user profiles set up, the other 2 work fine. Mine (sysadmin profile) won't save my wallpaper when I change it.

- I have looked for the com.apple.desktop.plist file in my preferences folder and there isn't one in there at all.
- I have reset the PRAM.
- I have repaired the permissions on my HD with disk utilities.

Nothing has worked. Every time I restart or change user profiles and then come back to my profile, it resets to the default Lion wallpaper.

Little help...?

Solution found

I resolved this - so here's my solution if anyone else gets into this situation. I actually did have the com.apple.desktop.plist files. They don't show up if I just navigate to my files in Finder. Had to use the Go feature in Finder and search for ~/Library/Preferences. There they were. From there, other posted solution (removing the files) worked fine.

;)
