I just installed Leopard and iWorks 2008 in my MacBook a few days ago.

I've had problems starting and shutting down my MacBook now. When I shut it down it does not completely shut down, the little light on the right side of the computer keeps blinking when the MacBook cover is shut, but it stops when I open it. But the computer is shut down.

Then I tried to start the computer like I usually do by pressing the power button but after many tries it just does not start up, until I pressed it down for a very long time, only then did it finally boot up.

It also takes a long time to start up and shut down, longer than normal and this only started today a few days after installing the new software.

Can anyone help me solve this problem? :(
