Cannot Undo developer Preview (selection)

So, I selected Developer Preview in the watch app just for ***** and giggles and it showed me an error that I cannot update the watch unless I update the phone first. Fair enough, but now it won’t let me go back to the standard release at all, just shows this screen, doesn’t let me go past it. Is a full reset (of the watch) the only option?

Just to be clear, no update actually happened.
