I am trying to update to iPad OS 15.1 I am doing it through iTunes on my windows 7 Laptop and my iTunes is up-to-date with the latest version Which is 12.10.11.2 yet when I try to update the iPad OS I get a message on iTunes that please update your iTunes to the latest version. But it is already on the latest version so what do I do ?

My iTunes version on Win11 is 12.12.1.1. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Why are you updating that way instead of OTA?

Don't use a computer to update your iPad. Just update it the normal way, Settings > General > Software update.

Yes that is exactly what I did the first time when even while downloading the OS it was telling me the same thing, then I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Then it did let me download. Looks like I will have to do the same thing again. So you are saying that way it should be able to update ? Because now I have the software downloaded on my computer I just need to install it on the iPad now.
