Cannot update

I was trying to get 5.0.1 and I get an error message and it won't load so I cannot update to untethered... Any ideas?

Which Iphone do you have, what error message from Itunes did you get?

iPhone 4... I was wanting to upgrade without doing a full restore w itunes

What error code are you getting IE 1600. Also have you tried searching 1st. we had a ton of these just yesterday.. so I'm guessing you will see a answer on the 1st page or two.. Unless it's a hardware issue.
