iPod touch Cannot update??

I have the 4.0 beta all ready and set up. So I tried to update my iPod, and it gives an error 3000. When I restore, it fails, and I have to restore to 3.1.3. When I did, I realized that I cannot load my backup

I looked in \Users\[Me]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backups and my UUID folders are there. I even backed up the folder of my latest backup. But iTunes cannot detect them.

So now I am stuck with 3.1.3 and none of my settings.


Can someone please help?

Ask on the Developer Forums, since you're using the 4.0 beta.

Well now I know that this is because I am using Windows. Come on, Apple!! YOU KILLED MY IPOD!...

So can I still restore my backup even though iTunes doesn't read it?

I said I have the UDID-named folder backed up.
