Well there goes my whole idea of using my win xp partition as a gaming partition. Not only does the screen not support 4:3 aspect ratio (goodbye Fallout 1+2, Baldurs gate 1+2, starcraft etc etc) but I am not allowed to use the external screen as my primary screen (I can live with it not working in clamshell) and this is ridiculous.
Any ideas to fix it?
edit: update, using the built-in Intel Graphics driver, I managed to make schemas that set my external display as my primary display. However, I was unable to make an extended desktop with the external as primary. This only works in clamshell mode.
Moreover I would like to know how to manually override the aspect ratio from 16:10 to 4:3.
