Cannot view pictures sent to me

Just got my 6 plus today. When I recieve a picture from someone it will show up for half a second and then it changes to "downloading." Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

iMessage text.

Try a hard restart of iMessages...eg, close it by using the double click and swipe it close, then try again.

I was just coming here to ask the same question. The pictures show up when I hit details but not in the message window.

Try my fix above, this may have been due to iCloud being down yesterday.
